Cautions Before Anti-rust

①No oil stains, no hand sweat, no dust, impurities, cutting chips, heat treatment salt and other adherents;

②No rust, no corrosion;

③Fully dry and free of moisture.

Therefore, a strict anti-rust treatment process must be adopted.

Anti-rust treatment process (recommended):

Processing → cleaning → rinsing → rust inhibitor → drying → cooling → protective packaging → storage

Cleaning before storage is especially important. Because there are often many kinds of dirt attached to the surface of metal parts, such as:

① Acidic substances (organic acids in hand sweat, acid gases such as SO2, H2O, CO2 in the atmosphere, residual acids in the pickling process, etc.)

②Corrosive salts (sodium chloride in hand sweat, salt bath quenching residual salt, residues from various chemical treatment processes, etc.)

③Dust, oil, chips, abrasives, cutting fluid, etc.,

If the cleaning is not thorough, it will become a hidden danger of corrosion of metal parts.
