Product Description

This product is an organosilicon coating designed for anti-corrosion treatment of metal surfaces in construction, chemical, marine, power and other industries and fields. It not only has excellent chemical properties such as corrosion resistance, high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, ultraviolet resistance, electrical insulation, salt spray resistance, water resistance and oil resistance, but also has excellent adhesion and good compatibility between materials.



Product Applications

Used for anti-corrosion treatment of metal surfaces, such as surface treatment of building steel structures, aluminum alloy profiles, color steel plates and color steel tiles.

Used for surface treatment with high salt spray resistance requirements, such as marine engineering, shipbuilding industry, petrochemical industry, etc.

Used for insulation protection of various equipment, such as transformer equipment, power distribution equipment, power transmission equipment, etc.

Usage Instructions

The specific usage method of this product should be determined according to the on-site construction conditions, and the following suggestions can generally be referred to:


Due to different corrosion environments of steel structures, the requirements for coating thickness are also different (the following atmospheric environment classification is in accordance with the provisions of ISO9223-2012). For atmospheric environments of C1 and C2 grades, the coating thickness shall not be less than 0.1mm; for atmospheric environments of C3 grade, the coating thickness shall not be less than 0.15mm; for atmospheric environments of C4 and C5 grades, the coating thickness shall not be less than 0.2mm; for atmospheric environments of CX grade, the coating thickness shall not be less than 0.3mm.

For large-area operations, spraying can be used, and spraying can be carried out by air spraying and airless spraying. When air spraying, the air compressor must be equipped with a good oil-water separator, and water is prohibited from mixing into the material, otherwise blistering or poor adhesion will occur. The spraying output pressure is preferably 0.4-0.8MPa, and the spray gun aperture can be 1.5-2.5mm.

For small areas, brushing or rolling can be used. After painting, the film will dry to the touch in 0.5-0.8 hours and dry hard in about 2-6 hours at 25℃. The drying time of the coating will vary with different air humidity, and the actual measurement shall prevail. The next process can only be carried out after the film is dry to the touch, and the surface dry is subject to no sticking.

The coating must ensure that the paint film is continuous, and there should be no pinholes or bottom exposure. If any, the construction must be re-carried out at the diseased area to make the above situation no longer appear, otherwise the anti-corrosion effect cannot be well achieved.

 After the painting operation is completed, the paint surface should be carefully inspected.

First, detect the thickness of the paint film. The thinnest thickness of the paint film should not be less than 90% of the standard thickness. If the thickness of the paint film is unqualified, it should be painted again until it is qualified.

Then check the surface of the paint film. If there are pinholes, damage or bottom exposure, the operation should be re-carried out until it meets the standard. For the pinholes and damaged areas, the area should be removed and re-painted, and the above diseases should no longer appear in the area.



Precautions

This product is acidic,Labor protection precautions: Operators should wear work clothes, acid and alkali resistant rubber gloves and other labor protection supplies.

Do not let this product come into contact with eyes. If it is accidentally splashed into the eyes, lift the eyelids immediately, rinse with flowing water or normal saline, and seek medical attention in time.

This product should not be swallowed. If swallowed by mistake, seek medical attention in time.

Adopt appropriate technology to ensure uniform coating and avoid the phenomenon of discontinuous paint film or sagging caused by material accumulation.

During construction, keep away from fire sources and keep good ventilation at the construction site.

This coating must not come into contact with water. Once in contact, it will quickly solidify into a solid state.

After opening, the product must be stored sealed and used up as soon as possible.



Storage and Transportation Information

Packaging: This product is packed in 20kg (iron drum).

Storage: Store sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated place; shelf life: one year.

Transportation: Load and unload lightly to prevent damage to the packaging and container; prevent exposure to the sun, rain and high temperature during transportation.
